What MoneyLoop is
MoneyLoop is a walking game on the real map. You put your phone in your pocket, you walk a loop around a few streets, you come back to where you started. Everything the loop encloses becomes your turf.
The twist: the real stores trapped inside your loop decide what you get paid in. Trap a Starbucks and a Nike store, get paid in SBUX and NKE — as tokenized stocks, on-chain, in a wallet that is yours.
The money that buys those stocks comes from $LOOP, the project's token: a fee on every trade fills a vault, and the vault pays the walkers. No presale, no staking, no shared pot: your loop, your payout.
Three things to keep in mind, in plain words: the game and the map are real and work today; the token and the vault are not launched yet; and tokenized stocks are real financial assets with real rules. The rest of this page goes through each one.
The rule
- Plant your flag. Your first GPS fix is your flag, with a small disc of turf around it.
- Walk. Your trail draws itself as you move. An open trail is worth nothing.
- Close it. Step back onto your turf and the loop snaps: everything inside is yours.
- Only new ground pays. Re-walking your own turf earns nothing. Ground that is already yours is not counted twice.
- Cross your own trail, lose it. If the trail intersects itself, the open loop is dropped (a tiny GPS wobble does not count, a real crossing does).
Traveling? A first fix more than 2 km from any of your turf plants a new flag: you keep everything you already own.
Turf is shown in blocks. One block is 20,000 m², roughly a city block of 140 m by 140 m. A relaxed 15-minute walk closes about 4 blocks.
What a loop pays
The formula in the app, exactly as coded:
payout = min( $25 , blocks × $3.60 + listed stores inside × $0.10 )
| Loop | New turf | Stores | Pays |
|---|---|---|---|
| Around one block (5 min) | 1 block | 2 | $3.80 |
| A relaxed quarter hour | 4 blocks | 8 | $15.20 |
| A big 30-minute loop | 8 blocks | 20 | $25.00 (capped) |
The payout is split equally between the tickers of the stores you trapped. Nothing listed inside? You get the index (SPY) instead. The loot card at the end of each loop shows the exact split.
These numbers are the launch settings. They are set by the team, not by a contract, and they will change with the size of the vault (see below). Any change will be announced on this page before it applies.
Where the money comes from
Walkers are paid from a vault. The vault is filled by a fee on $LOOP trades. That is the whole model: no ads, no subscriptions, no selling your data. $LOOP will be launched on Pons, Robinhood Chain's launchpad: the fee is taken on every trade by the launchpad itself and paid to the vault's address, and the liquidity is locked forever when the curve graduates. Nobody, us included, can pull it.
When you withdraw, the vault buys the tokenized stocks you earned with its USDG and sends them to your address. The vault never holds your money: it holds USDG and stock tokens, and pays out on request. Its address and its balance will be public from launch day.
The honest math
The vault can only pay what trading brings in. With a 2.7% take, $10,000 of daily volume feeds the vault $270 a day: that is about 18 quarter-hour loops at $15. With $100,000 of daily volume, about 180 loops. If volume dries up, payouts slow down, the cap and the per-block rate go down, or withdrawals queue. There is no magic here and we will not pretend otherwise.
What we commit to: the vault's balance and every payout will be visible on-chain once the token is live, and this page will show the current rate, cap and vault balance.
Stocks & brands
The stores come from OpenStreetMap, the open map of the world that anyone can edit. When your loop closes, the app looks at every shop, restaurant, bank and station inside it and matches the brand to a listed company using a dictionary of about 1,100 brand names and 450 tickers (McDonald's → MCD, Zara → IDEXY, 7-Eleven → SVNDY, Carrefour → CRRFY...). Names in Japanese, Chinese, Korean and Arabic are covered, and OpenStreetMap's Wikidata ids are used first so the language does not matter.
Where the company is not listed in the US, the app uses its US-traded ADR when one exists. That is what a tokenized-stock chain can actually carry.
Things you should know:
- If a store is missing from OpenStreetMap, the app does not see it. You can add it on openstreetmap.org — it shows up for everyone, forever.
- The "1,000+ brands" figure is the size of the dictionary, not the number of stock tokens available on-chain. 194 stock tokens exist on Robinhood Chain today (the "ON CHAIN" mark in the Stocks list); for anything else the app pays the index (SPY) and tells you.
- Prices shown in the app are indicative and delayed. Your payout is denominated in dollars at the moment the loop snaps; the number of tokens you receive depends on the price at the moment the vault buys them.
- "Paid in AAPL" means you receive a token that tracks Apple's stock. You do not become an Apple shareholder of record, you do not get voting rights, and dividends depend on the token issuer's rules.
Account & wallet
You sign in with Google or X. The sign-in is handled by Privy, the same provider used by Touch Grass and many other apps. Privy creates a wallet for you on Robinhood Chain: no seed phrase to write down, no extension to install.
- Your turf and your balance are saved to your account on our server after every change, so you find them again on any device. The live trail stays on the phone you are walking with.
- Your wallet address is shown on the account screen. You can copy it and receive other tokens there.
- You can export your private key from the account screen (Privy's secure window). The key is yours: we never see it, and neither does Privy's staff.
- Already have a wallet? Paste its address when you withdraw and the stocks go there instead.
We store: your account id, your login email or X handle, your wallet address, your turf and payouts. We do not store your GPS trail on our servers: the trail lives on your phone and only the closed shape's size and stores are used to compute a payout.
Withdrawing
- Open the wallet, check your available balance (what you have earned and not yet withdrawn).
- From $5, press Withdraw. You see the exact list: tickers, fractions, total.
- Confirm. The request is recorded as pending. The vault pays the gas.
- The vault buys the stock tokens and sends them to your address. Status turns to sent with the transaction hash.
Then the tokens are yours to keep, sell for USDC on a DEX, or move anywhere.
What can be withdrawn is what the server has credited: real GPS loops that passed the fair-play checks. Mouse-demo loops never count, and a loop held for review counts once a human has looked at it. Withdrawals above $25 are looked at by a person before they are sent.
What is built, honestly
Last updated: September 8, 2026.
| Piece | Status | Details |
|---|---|---|
| The game (GPS loop, turf, trail, loot) | Live | Works in the browser on any phone. Needs the page open while you walk: a web page cannot track GPS in the background. |
| Stores → stocks | Live | OpenStreetMap + a 1,100-name dictionary. 51 big cities are pre-computed so they load in about a second; anywhere else reads OpenStreetMap live (5 to 40 s, sometimes fails under load). |
| Loop planner | Live | Suggests a 10 to 45-minute loop from your flag, routed on real sidewalks. |
| Sign in with Google / X, embedded wallet | Live | Through Privy. The Privy app is in development mode (150 accounts) until launch. |
| Account ledger & withdraw requests | Live | Every GPS loop is checked and credited server-side; withdrawals are bounded by that balance and queued for the vault. The worker that sends tokens exists but is not running: no vault yet. |
| $LOOP token | Not yet | Not deployed. Anyone selling you a $LOOP token today is scamming you. Plan: launched on Pons (Robinhood Chain's launchpad), paired with USDG, liquidity locked forever at graduation, trading fees paid to the vault on every trade. |
| The vault | Building | The vault contract is written and tested: the team's hot key can only pay withdrawals (capped, never twice) and buy stock tokens on Uniswap v3; the owner key holds everything else. Rehearsed on a fork of Robinhood Chain. Not deployed on mainnet yet: no fees collected, no payouts sent. |
| Robinhood Chain stock tokens | Live | 194 official stock tokens exist today (SPY, AAPL, NVDA, TSLA, COST, LULU, XOM…), freely transferable ERC-20s. The app pays only in those; a trapped store whose stock is not on chain yet (McDonald's, Nike, Starbucks…) pays in SPY, and the loot card says so. Eligibility by region is Robinhood's rule, not ours. |
| Anti-cheat | Building | On the phone: accuracy, speed and jump filters. On the server: walking-speed check per loop, 6 loops an hour, $100 a day, size cap; anything outside is held for review. GPS spoofing is not fully detected yet. See fair play. |
| Native app (background GPS) | Not yet | Planned after launch. |
Risks
- $LOOP can go to zero. It is a meme-adjacent token whose only utility is feeding the vault. Do not put in money you cannot lose.
- Payouts depend on volume. No trading, no vault, no payouts. Rates and caps will be tuned to what the vault can afford.
- Tokenized stocks have rules. Depending on where you live, you may not be allowed to hold them. Where that is the case, we cannot send them to you and will say so before you walk.
- Smart-contract and custody risk. Wallets, bridges and token contracts can have bugs. The vault holds the money between fills and payouts.
- Map data can be wrong. A store may be closed, misnamed, or mapped to the wrong brand. Payouts are computed from the map, not from reality.
- This is not investment advice. MoneyLoop is a game. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy any stock or token.
Fair play & privacy
The game only makes sense if the loops are real walks. Faking GPS, driving a loop, or automating the app gets the account banned and its balance voided. Every loop is checked twice: on the phone (accuracy, speed, impossible jumps) and on the server (a loop that would need more than a brisk walk to close, more than 6 loops in an hour, more than $100 in a day, or an absurd size is held and reviewed by a person before it can be withdrawn).
Your GPS trail never leaves your phone. What reaches our servers when you withdraw: your account id, the address, the tickers and amounts. The map tiles come from OpenFreeMap and store data from OpenStreetMap: those services see your map requests like any website you visit.
Roadmap
- Now: the game is playable, sign-in works, withdrawals queue. Walk, trap stores, build a balance.
- Launch: $LOOP goes live with a locked liquidity pool, fees start filling the vault, the first queued withdrawals are paid. Vault address and rates published here.
- After launch: live vault balance in the app, the published list of deliverable stock tokens, stronger anti-cheat, the whole world pre-computed (not only 51 cities), a native app with background GPS.
FAQ
Do I need to buy $LOOP to play?
No. Walking is free and always will be. $LOOP is what traders buy; walkers get paid from the fees.
Can I play from my computer?
There is a mouse demo to see how it works: it shows what a loop would pay, but nothing is credited. The real game is outside, on your phone, with GPS.
Why does the app say a store is there when it is not?
Because OpenStreetMap says so. Fix it on openstreetmap.org and the app follows.
What if nothing listed is inside my loop?
You get the index (SPY). Big brands pay more only because each store adds $0.10: the base pay is the turf itself.
Can two people own the same block?
Yes. Turf is individual: nobody can steal yours and you cannot steal theirs. Only your new ground counts for your payout.
